January 1, 2019 the National Health Insurance Mandate will be going away and you will no longer receive a penalty for going uninsured or for purchasing a Non-ACA Compliant Health Insurance Plan (Short-Term or Ancillary Products).

From what we have seen so far as a "Sneak Peek" it looks as if not much is changing for 2019, rates will be increasing and Health Insurance Carriers and Doctor/Hospital Networks are still going to be limited based on the County that you live in. Smith & Associates does have some alternate options available if purchasing an ACA Compliant plan direct with a carrier or through the Marketplace is not an option for you.
